Itinerary: Camino Francés from Sarria
7 days / 6 nights
The French way is the route that pilgrims have used since the beginning of the pilgrimages to the «Locus Sancti Iacobi», currently Santiago de Compostela. This is the only one that has been documented since the middle of the 12th century. The Codex Calixtinus describes it as a travel guide for medieval pilgrims.
This Camino from Roncesvalles has 36 stages.
Our proposal is to complete the final 5 kilometres, resulting in a total distance of 111 kilometres, which is the required distance for pilgrims to obtain the Compostela, a certificate granted by the Chapter of the Catedral of Santiago to those who request it, certifying their completion of the Camino, the tomb of the Apostle Santiago. When arriving in Santiago you will soon discover with us the culture and tradition that its city, its Catedral and its inhabitants contain.
In case you have questions
